E.A. Poe: The Tell-Tale Heart and Other Stories

The Curiosity Cabinet, conducted by Whitney George, celebrates Edgar Allan Poe with an evening of live music and silent film at the Morgan Library Museum.
The program features two live rescorings of experimental American silent films from 1928: Charles F. Klein’s The Tell-Tale Heart and Melville Webber and J.S. Watson Jr.’s The Fall of the House of Usher. The evening also includes an intimate setting of Poe’s poem Evening Star and a semi-theatrical presentation of The Raven for chamber ensemble and narrator.
