As a winner of the 2013 American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition, Adam made his Carnegie Hall solo debut in Weill Hall. Currently based in New York City, Adam is pursuing his Master’s degree at Brooklyn College Conservatory of Music and is in the studio of Masao Kawasaki. He serves as Co-Concertmaster of the Conservatory Orchestra, is a member of the school’s contemporary music ensemble “conTempo”, and also performs with the Chelsea Symphony.

A native of Atlanta, Georgia, Adam received his Bachelor’s in Performance from Kennesaw State University, where he studied with Helen Hwaya Kim and briefly with Atlanta Symphony Orchestra violinist Kenn Wagner. For four years, Adam served as concertmaster of the KSU Symphony Orchestra, with which he toured Beijing and Xi’an, China. He has also performed with other orchestras in the southeast such as the Savannah Philharmonic, Georgia Symphony, North Georgia Symphony, Carroll Symphony, Rome Symphony, and Gadsden (Alabama) Symphony Orchestras.

He has also appeared as soloist with the University Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition to recitals at school, he has been invited to represent KSU in recitals for the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce, a concert series in Savannah, GA, and the annual School of Music Scholarship Luncheon.

As a chamber musician, Adam performed with the KSU String Quartet, which placed first in the 2010 Georgia MTNA chamber music competition. He has collaborated with numerous artists such as tenor Joseph Evans (University of Houston, Moores School of Music faculty), various KSU faculty members, the KSU Dance Company, the KSU Choirs, the KSU Wind Ensemble, and the 2011 and 2012 American Choral Directors State Honor Choirs. Adam traveled to San Juan, Puerto Rico, in February 2013 with a group of colleagues to perform chamber music concerts with concert guitarist Felix Rodriguez and returned the following June for encore performances.
